The XIV International Scientific Conference "European Economies after COVID-19: Challenges and Implications for the Macroeconomic Policy" was held in a hybrid mode - in the premises of the Institute of Economic Sciences and online, on the 27th and 28th of October 2022.
During two Conference days, the Institute of Economic Sciences welcomed 2 eminent keynote speakers from prestigious European universities, 4 experienced moderators who guided and encouraged debate among the sessions’ participants, over 30 researchers from 10 European and Asian countries who presented their extended abstracts and shared ideas on applied macroeconomic topics, and over 70 attendees from the academic and economic sector who attended the Conference both on-site and online.
The Conference was organized with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, and besides the Institute of Economic Sciences in Belgrade, the organizers of the aforementioned scientific gathering were the Institute of Economics in Skopje - "Ss. Cyril and Methodius" University, Faculty of Economics in Podgorica - University of Montenegro, Institute of Economics in Sarajevo, Institute for Development and International Relations in Zagreb, and Institute for Economic Research in Ljubljana.
The presented extended abstracts were published in the Conference Book of Abstracts, and authors were invited to publish their scientific papers in an International Monograph or in the scientific journal of the Institute of Economic Sciences "Journal Economic Analysis: Applied Research in Emerging Markets".
