About conference
Honorable colleagues, dear friends,
We proudly announce that the 10 th International Scientific Conference Theoretical and empirical aspects of economic science – 60 years of challenges and opportunities is completed.
This year our conference has a special significance, since it was organized to mark the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Economic Sciences in Belgrade, the great and important jubilee in which we are all very proud. Conference was conceived from three working sessions with important and widely set topics in the field of economics:
- Business Economics
- Applied Economics
- Economic Theory in the last 60 years

A total of 124 abstracts for all three conference sessions were submitted, and 96 of them have passed. The great response of the international and domestic scientific public, where works were sent by a total of 178 authors from 21 countries around the world, speaks about the renome and importance of the Institute of Economic Sciences as scientific research institution on international scale.
The general purpose of the Conference was to provide opportunity for researchers to meet and discuss on theoretical and empirical economic issues, and to provide participants the opportunity to attend lectures from the keynote speakers from leading research institutions and universities. Specific goal of the conference was to lead discussions on most recent challenges and opportunities in economic area with policy makers and other participants, and enjoy great networking opportunities.
We would like to thank all the authors, reviewers, program and organization committee members and keynote speakers for their contribution to the successful accomplishment of this conference.
