Danijela Stojanović, PhD at the International Conference ICMarkTech 24 in Ponta Delgada

Danijela Stojanović, PhD research assistant at the Institute of Economic Sciences, participated in the International Conference on Marketing and Technologies 2024 (ICMarkTech 2024), organized by the University of the Azores and held in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Portugal, from 5 to 7 December 2024.

Danijela Stojanović chaired one of the 26 sessions held during this international conference. The session covered innovations in marketing and technology, analyzing topics such as consumer motivation in loyalty programs, eco-initiatives in the tourism sector, retail challenges related to technological failures, the impact of data-driven marketing on decision-making, and the application of artificial intelligence in service quality assessment in customer relationship management.

More than 120 scientific and professional presentations were held over the three days of the conference. Danijela Stojanović was also a co-author of one of the papers presented at the conference. The paper, entitled “Application of Open Innovations in Railway Transport and Their Importance for the Improvement of Railways”, analyzed how the development of IoT technologies and the concept of open innovation enable faster, more streamlined, and cost-effective solutions to railway transport problems, especially in the areas of traffic safety and smart transport.

In addition to Danijela Stojanović, Nenad Stanisavljević from the Infrastructure of Serbian Railways and Dijana Stojanović, PhD student at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, are co-authors of the study.
