From 6th to 7th September 2012, the international scientific Conference entitled "Economic Changes in a Time of Crisis: Challenges and Opportunities" was held at the Faculty of Economics in Coimbra. The Conference was organized by the Faculty of Economics in cooperation with the Institute of Economic Sciences, Grupe de Estudos Monetarios e Financeiros (GEMF), CEMAFI International, Belgrade Banking Academy, and the University of Nice – Sofia Antipolis.
