17th International Symposium SOR’23

Dr. Kosovka Ognjenović participated in the 17th International Symposium SOR’23 https://sor.fov.um.si. At this symposium, which is held every other year, a large number of delegates from several countries participated, and more than 90 papers were presented. SOR’23 was held in Bled, 20-22 September 2023, and was organized by the Slovenian Society Informatika, Section of Operations Research,and University of Maribor, Faculty of Organizational Sciences in cooperation with the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Colleague Ognjenović presided over the Econometric Models and Statistics session where she presented the paper “Using the stochastic frontier approach to determine the gender wage gap and labor market efficiency”. Three more papers were presented at this session. One paper was presented by colleagues Peter Knížat and Andrea Furková from the Slovak Republic and two papers by colleagues Tomislav Korotaj, James Ming Chen and Nataša Kurnoga, as well as Mario Pepur from Croatia.
