Research Assistant at the Institute of Economic Sciences, Emilija Cvetković, visited the Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies (IOS) in Regensburg. This stay occurred from October 8 to October 18, 2023, as part of the internal call for study trips within the IES transformation program.
During the meeting with Dr. Ulf Brunnbauer, the director of IOS, Emilija had the opportunity to familiarize herself with IOS's organizational structure and operations. The visit opened up possibilities for enhancing collaboration between IES and IOS in the future. Throughout the stay, collaboration was established with young researchers from IOS. Emilija also had the chance to explore the rich IOS library and attend the annual IOS conference on the topic of (Re-)Ordering Eastern Europe. At the end of the visit, as part of the SNAKLAB format within the project A Small but Fertile Field: Strengthening Southeast European Studies in Regensburg (seeFField), Emilija delivered a lecture on the topic of Yugoslav-American Joint Ventures: The Case Study of "Ei-Honeywell."
