Forum on the Assessment of Research Institutions “Building Better Science”

On Friday, March 15, 2024, the Forum on the Assessment of Research Institutions “Building Better Science” was organized in collaboration with the Institute of Economic Sciences, Belgrade, and the Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia. The event was opened by the director of the Institute of Economic Sciences, Ph.D. Jovan Zubovic and the State Secretary, Vukasin Grozdic. The Forum's main objective was to familiarize participants with various principles of evaluating scientific work in Europe. Different approaches and experiences in the work of institutions from several European countries were successfully presented. Besides local speakers and panelists from the scientific community of Serbia, the Forum also featured a professor with a Ph.D. Toivo Maimets from the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, University of Tartu, Estonia, and Ph.D. Bojan Macan, head of the Center for Scientific Information of the Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb, Croatia.
