Training "Introduction to qualitative and participatory methods" held at the Institute of Economic Sciences

From 9 to 11 July 2024, the Institute of Economic Sciences hosted the 3rd Training School in the field of public policy evaluation entitled "Introduction to qualitative and participatory methods", organized within the COST initiative CA 20112 - PlatfoRm OF policy Evaluation community for improved EU policies and Better ACKnowledgement – ​​Profeedback.

The training was organized with the aim of strengthening researchers’ skills in applying qualitative methods in the evaluation of programs, projects, public policies and different types of research, as well as familiarization with the basic principles of the evidence-based policy making. Lectures were given by trainers with rich international experience in the field of evaluation - Dr. Marijana Sumpor (Croatian Network of Evaluators), Dr. Olha Krasovska (Ukrainian Evaluation Association), and Sari Rannanpaa (NordEval Oy Espoo, Finland).

In addition to the three participants from the Institute of Economic Sciences, Dr. Dijana Štrbac, Dr. Milena Lazić, and Dr. Valentine Vukmirović, 12 researchers from 7 countries - Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Hungary, Moldova, Romania and Slovakia - participated in the training.
