Description:
The Green Economy in Serbia project is aims to support the transformation of Serbia's economy into an ecologically sustainable and climate-friendly system. The project focuses on realizing the green transformation potential for Serbian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), especially in the processing and tourism sectors. The project aims to develop a roadmap that addresses challenges in implementing green economy principles, including circular economy and waste management, water and soil protection, air quality, decarbonization sustainable energy and energy efficiency. The roadmap will analyze regulations at the national and international levels, assess the readiness and commitment of companies to green practices, and identify obstacles such as regulatory and financial barriers. The document will offer recommendations for aligning MSMEs with the green agenda and improving their competitiveness, ultimately contributing to Serbia's sustainable development and social prosperity.
