Description:

The project aims to develop and test the Dig4XP service prototype, which offers visitors the opportunity to participate in real archaeological excavations, thereby creating a new tourism product and strengthening the capacities of the archaeological sector. This service relies on scientific archaeological methods and an economically sustainable model, providing institutions with a tool to enhance financial sustainability and ensure continuous support for the preservation of archaeological heritage. The expected outcome is the Dig4XP toolkit, which will serve as a guide for implementing such services at various sites.
