The international scientific conference “Dialogues on China 2025” was successfully held in Belgrade on October 15–16, 2025, organized by the Institute of International Politics and Economics.
Over the course of two days, the conference featured 15 panel sessions and two plenary sessions with keynote presentations, bringing together a total of 140 researchers from 36 countries. Among the key topics discussed were China’s position in global politics and the world economy, green transition and digital power, as well as China’s relations with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
Dr. Elena Jovičić, Research Associate at the Institute of Economic Sciences, participated in the conference and presented the paper titled “Network Centrality and China’s Economic Partnerships in Central and Eastern Europe: A Comparative Study of Hungary and Serbia.”
The conference concluded by emphasizing the importance of strengthening international dialogue and knowledge exchange among researchers from Serbia, China, and other countries, with the aim of deepening the understanding of global development processes.
