Two round tables held to present the results of the project "Identifying the causes of long-term unemployment of older women in Serbia and North Macedonia"

As part of the international project funded by the Visegrad Fund, round tables were held on 18 November 2025 at the European House in Belgrade and on 20 November 2025 at the Institute of Economics in Skopje to present key research findings.

The research, conducted through group discussions with stakeholders and unemployed women aged 50+, will be translated into recommendations for policymakers in the employment sector, as well as for women in this age group.

In Belgrade, in addition to partners from the Institute of Economic Sciences, the Institute of Economics in Skopje, the Institute for Economic Research – SAS from Bratislava, and UITM in Rzeszów, representatives of the National Employment Service took part. The discussion included representatives of relevant ministries, NGOs, trade unions, the Chamber of Commerce, regional development agencies, and the academic community, helping shape guidelines for future action.
