Dr. Danijela Stojanović, Research Associate at the Institute of Economic Sciences and Head of Module 3 – Innovation and Environmental Protection (EU Green Deal), delivered a series of lectures on “Ecology and Sustainable Innovative Models (EU Green Deal)” on March 3, 2026, at the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro.
The activity was implemented within the framework of the BIO4INNO project and formed part of the structured implementation of Module 3, coordinated by Dr. Stojanović. The lectures emphasized the strategic role of innovation in advancing sustainable development and aligning national and regional practices with the principles and objectives of the European Green Deal.
Special attention was given to contemporary approaches in eco-innovation, circular economy, climate neutrality, and the sustainable transformation of key sectors, including energy, transport, agriculture, and industry. In addition, participants were introduced to relevant EU funding instruments such as Horizon Europe, LIFE, and EIT Climate-KIC, with a focus on project participation, funding opportunities, and multi-stakeholder cooperation involving academia, local communities, and the public and private sectors.
The lecture contributes to strengthening research collaboration, knowledge transfer, and the practical implementation of green transition policies within the framework of the BIO4INNO project.
