Časlav Ocić, PhD

Časlav Ocić (1945) was born in Dalj (Croatia). He finished elementary school in his hometown and high school in Osijek. He graduated in 1969 from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade, and received his master's degree in 1972 from Williams College in Williamstown, USA. He received his doctorate in 1992 at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade, with a dissertation entitled "Regional development in post-war Yugoslavia." His field of research is macroeconomics. Since 2015 he has been a regular member of SANU. His notable work includes: Conception of long-term development of the construction industry of SR Montenegro (1974), Intersectoral dependence and structural changes in the economy of Yugoslavia (1977), Development of Belgrade municipalities (1984), National Equality and Economic Development (1988).
