For the purposes of drafting the General Urban Plan of the city of Čačak, the Institute of Economic Sciences and the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism prepare analyses and studies for individual areas necessary to approach adequate planning solutions. The goal of the aforementioned studies is to obtain a realistic picture of the current situation, the expected needs of the population in the future planning period, the definition of development goals while considering the realistic possibilities for their realization in the given time frame, the definition of measures that would be within the domain of the analysed areas in order to develop adequate planning solutions through General Urban Plan.
