Description:
The Institute of Economic Sciences is participating in a project to evaluate the funding program to improve the competitiveness of the tourism offer and infrastructure in the Lower Danube region. As part of this project, a methodology for evaluating the grants has been developed, which includes survey methods and interviews with stakeholders. One of the tasks within the project is field research for data collection. Based on the data collected, a detailed analysis is required to show the impact of the program on the performance of the grantees and the degree of target achievement. Challenges and barriers as well as best practices within the program also need to be identified. The aim of the project is to develop recommendations for the implementation of future activities to develop new business areas, create innovation and open up new markets.
