Professor Dragan Milinković Filmon, Research Fellow of the IES and Head of the Department for Culture Economics, has recently returned from a study trip to the USA where he was the film jury President at the International film festival "Short Fest" in Palm Springs from 21-27 August. He gave a master's lecture, “Cinematography Economics and Global Film Market”, to the participants of the Festival Forum and Film Market. He also gave a similar lecture at Loyola Marymount University in LA. His lectures were a great contribution to applied economics discipline development in the field of producer models of film production. During his stay in California, Mr Milinković, besides the famous theatre “Kodak” (the place of the Oscar ceremony), visited other places of Hollywood film Imperia. He also was the guest of the Governor of California and popular film star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
