Researchers from the Institute of Economic Sciences participants in an international project

Team of researchers from the Institute of Economic Sciences, coordinated by PhD Isidora Ljumović, is participating in a project entitled Analysis of value chains in the Western Balkan economies – Enriching the potential for regional cooperation in priority areas. The project is financed by European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRS) with its realization planned for the period from December 2020 to June 2021. This project aims to deliver an overview of value chain integration in the WB economies and their competitive position. It will also help to identify opportunities for upgrading the position of the region and individual economies in European and global value chains, as well as strengthening regional and transnational co-operation in line with smart specialization strategies and ongoing global megatrends and challenges.
