Ninth Call for Talented Young Researchers – PhD Students

The Institute of Economic Sciences offers an exceptional opportunity for talented young researchers to begin their scientific research careers in a dynamic, interdisciplinary, and supportive academic environment and to become part of a team of outstanding researchers dedicated to studying various scientific fields within economics.

The development of young research talent is of strategic importance to the Institute of Economic Sciences, as young researchers represent valuable intellectual capital with the potential to contribute to the improvement and advancement of existing research capacities.

As a Research Trainee at the Institute of Economic Sciences, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Actively participate in fundamental and applied research in the field of economics
  2. Learn with the support of an “in-house mentor,” who will help you develop the necessary skills and competencies for scientifili research work
  3. Collaborate with experienced researchers in writing scientific papers
  4. Participate in the preparation of project proposals and the implementation of basic and applied research projects
  5. Contribute to the preparation of public policy publications
  6. Develop quantitative analysis skills and apply modern statistical models and research tools
  7. Continuously improve through participation in various trainings and workshops in the country and abroad
  8. Take part in international and national scientific conferences
  9. Participate in the organization of scientific conferences and round tables, with the aim of disseminating research results anli initiating discussions with key stakeholders and policy makers.

The candidate should meet the following requirements:

  1. Master’s degree in Economics
  2. Demonstrated ability for scientific research work
  3. Excellent command of the English language
  4. High level of proactivity and interest in interdisciplinary research
  5. Strong analytical skills and readiness to work in a dynamic team environment
  6. Good knowledge of statistical software (such as STATA, SPSS, or R).
