During its 65-year history, the Institute of Economic Sciences has developed cooperation with numerous institutions and organizations worldwide that have recognized the importance of our research and the quality of knowledge in practical implementation. The results of established joint research activities deepen the understanding of critical economic issues in practice and the acquisition of new knowledge, skills, and experiences.

The reputation and tradition carried by the name of the Institute of Economic Sciences are significant not only for partners in the country but also abroad. Today, the Institute can be proud of a network of collaborators, including over 70 institutions and organizations from the private, public, and civil sectors.

International cooperation is realized through organizing and participating in scientific conferences, meetings, round tables, and workshops. Study visits and researchers' presentations are crucial for disseminating the results of young researchers' work. At the same time, keynote lectures by foreign experts are essential for improving research capacities. In the future, international cooperation will be directed towards intensifying Institute and partner organizations' participation in the EU research funding programs. The directions of collaboration that the Institute will intensify and improve in the upcoming period are strategic collaboration and collaboration with business entities. The Institute will continue the practice of good partnerships with state bodies and civil society organizations to contribute to creating economic policy and implementing social reforms (primarily through creating public policies).
