Researcher Assistant Đina Ivanović and Marija Antonijević on a study visit to the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb (EFZG)

In a significant scholarly pursuit, Researcher Assistant Đina Ivanović and Marija Antonijević embarked on a study visit to the prestigious Faculty of Economics in Zagreb (EFZG). Their visit, from October 16, 2023, to October 20, 2023, was marked by insightful discussions and academic exchanges.

The primary objective of this study visit was to engage in in-depth conversations with the eminent Professor Mirjana Pejić Bah, who according to Scopus is ranked in the first 2% of the most cited researchers worldwide. The discussion covered a wide range of scientific topics, with a particular focus on the following key areas:

• High-Impact Journal Publications: Exploring strategies and best practices for publishing research papers in prestigious scientific journals.
• International projects: Acquiring knowledge and skills for writing project applications and insight into current projects and initiatives at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb.
• Future collaborations: The visit 'opened' the way for future collaborations, including joint scientific works, active participation in academic conferences and much more.

Apart from the enriching interactions with Professor Mirjana Pejić Bah, Đina and Marija had the privilege of engaging with other distinguished professors at EFZG. Notably, Professors Ljubica Milanović Glavan, Ilko Vrankić, and Danijela Ferjanić Hodak extended warmly welcomed them and shared their expert knowledge on numerous scientific topics.

A noteworthy addition to their study visit was the opportunity, thanks to Professor Mirjana Pejić Bah, to participate in a specialized workshop on scientific publishing. This workshop was organized on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment and publication of the first Impact Factor (IF) issue of the well-known international scientific journal, Journal of Sustainable Development of Energy, Water, and Environment Systems (JSDEWES)
